Zehra Marulyalı İlkokulu is a public school in Anamur, Mersin, offering education from kindergarten through lower secondary school. Serving both local children and boarding pupils from remote villages, the school provides a caring and holistic learning environment that supports every child’s academic, social, cultural and emotional development.
Environmental awareness, science, art, drama and sports are an active part of school life. Through its clubs and creative learning activities, pupils explore ideas, develop confidence, collaborate with others and take responsibility for their school and community. The school has also received four National Quality Labels for its successful eTwinning work.
Through national and international projects, Zehra Marulyalı İlkokulu brings together ecological literacy, creative learning, coding, robotics and STEAM education. Tree-planting campaigns and nature-protection activities help students turn respect for the environment into a lived value and inspire them to shape a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Each partner brings a distinct strength, from student activities to parent engagement, so every school community finds a path into sustainability.
